Seats4Safety: Booster Car Seat Giveaway
On March 19, 2016, AEG Management Oakland, in partnership with AEG Oakland Community Foundation, Alameda County Emergency Medical Services and Safe Kids Alameda County joined together to bring the Seats4Safety event to Oracle Arena in conjunction with Safe Kids Day.
The community event provided 500 free new booster car seats and car safety education to low-income families in Alameda County.
Families also received child safety resources from a wealth of community and law enforcement organizations on heat stroke prevention, pedestrian safety, bike safety, drowning prevention, sports safety, fire/burn prevention, distracted driving, nutrition/healthy eating, Medi-Cal, CalFresh, CalWorks, general assistance programs, foster care support, childhood vaccination
